SIMLISE run by Simon Hopkins and Lisa Hopkins (formerly trading as BUILDEEZ). This can be confirmed on Companies House. We had a single story extension built in winter 2022 by BUILDEEZ. In JUNE 2023 the roof started leaking. After inspection by roofing companies it was found the tiles were wrong for the pitch of the roof and the gutter does not fall at the correct angle, amongst other things. An expert builder survey found poor quality workmanship and incorrect installation of materials. After chasing these people through all the correct channels - Federation of Master Builders, Trading Standards, re-inspection by Building Control and finally through a legal team, involving an expert building survey, we now have Judgement by Default through court. This means we can tell our story. At NO POINT have these people offered to sort out the mistake. At NO POINT have they accepted responsibility. PLEASE NOTE: shortly after receiving the expert building report Simon Hopkins stepped down as director of Buildeez and started the new Company SIMLISE in March 2026 using the same contact details and Facebook profile, just with a new name. We have been left with no Building Control certificate and a roof that needs removing and replacing.
