Experience description

Worked for Stewart Langton, who is a well-known fraudster now serving 4 years and 10 months for breach of CBO and fraud by misrepresentation. Southward is an unskilled labourer who was employed specifically to cause as much damage as possible so that Langton could up the price of the job. Southward and his accomplice Ryan Pape were responsible for destroying approximately three tonnes of stone slate.

Work promised vs work done

The original quotation was 850 for a chimney leak repair, which Langton upped by having Southward and his accomplice Pape systematically destroy my roof.

Attempts to resolve

These individuals were kicked off the job when it became clear they were cowboys. In his hurry to run off, Southward left his bank card behind which enabled me to identify Langton (who was working under a false name.)

Current situation

Langton is in prison and Southward has been named in statements to police for this, and two other, jobs in which victims were relieved of tens of thousands of pounds.

Ideal resolution

Jail time.
