Experience description

I wish to report Camaron Coleman, operating under the business names CT Building and Plastering Services Ltd / CT Plastering and Rendering, regarding serious concerns about his business practices and the treatment of multiple customers. In January 2025, we entered into an agreement with Camaron for building and plastering work at our property. Work commenced in April 2025, with an estimated completion timeframe of 3–4 weeks. Despite this, the work was repeatedly delayed. By November 2025, it had been ongoing for approximately seven months, and by April/May 2026, over a year had passed, with less than half of the agreed work completed. We paid approximately £10,000 by bank transfer, representing around 75% of the agreed cost. Despite receiving the majority of the payment, Camaron failed to complete the contracted work. Throughout this period, we were repeatedly provided with excuses for non-attendance and delays, including photographs purportedly explaining why work could not progress. Eventually, Camaron stopped responding to our messages and blocked us. We were left with substantial unfinished work, damage to our property, including window frames and a back door, and building materials, equipment, a tower and waste abandoned at our property. We issued a formal Letter Before Action on 24 April 2026, but this did not result in repayment or a satisfactory resolution. Concerns regarding other customers Since our experience, I have become aware of numerous other individuals publicly reporting similar experiences involving Camaron across various Rogue Trader and warning groups on Facebook. I have personally been in contact with several other affected customers who describe remarkably similar circumstances, including substantial financial losses, incomplete work, repeated excuses and failure to communicate. Of particular concern is the apparent repeated use of identical photographs by Camaron as excuses for not attending or progressing work at different customers’ properties. I am aware of at least two other individuals who have reported their experiences to the police. The similarities between these accounts raise serious concerns about potentially misleading and unfair business practices and whether customers have been deliberately induced to make substantial payments without receiving the services promised. He has several outstanding CCJs from several past customers.

Work promised vs work done

A full lime re-render of our house. We now have not even half a house completed, damage to our brand new upvc windows and doors which were fitted a few days before Camaron started. He also left us which a large gaping hole out to the outside in our bedroom bay window which is still there - he had to rebuild the bay window as he said it wasn’t strong enough to hold tender, he said this was fully insulated - however there is no insulation within the bay window at all

Attempts to resolve

We have a lever arch file full of evidence of us trying to contact him to resolve this and his ignoring us - we have sent several letters before action and contacted trading standards and the police

Current situation

We have tried to get several quotes off people to complete the work, however most have said they wont do it due to us not being covered by a guarantee due to having a half job done, others have said it’s really poor woranship snd it would bee to all come off and start again and have quotes £20k

Ideal resolution

We are hoping to raise awareness of Camaron as if you search his name on Facebook you will see the amount of ‘victims’ he has scammed. We want to try and recover some of the money in order to try and afford remedial works which currently we are unable to afford
